Daler Rowney's Kandahar Drawing Ink is great for tonal or value studies, black and white inking and washes.

have you ever used Higgins Calligraphy waterproof black ink?  I was wondering if it would be safe for use in my fountain pen. Thanks for all you do on the reviews.

Do you think a Pentel Pocket Brush pen will clog if I fill it with this ink?

Do you use a specific brush for working only with inks? Or can you use it with watercolor as well? I have heard that some inks are hard on your brushes.

hi teoh, have you tried dr.ph. martin's ocean fountain pen ink series (especially the black one)? would love to hear your opinion first, as they quite pricey for me. i'm curently searching for the blackest matte ink for fountain pen and brush pen use.

Being honest this is some bad quality indiano black ink, dont get me wrong you can see this ink in a good view, using with watercolour, but for someone like me who just starded working with dip pen for the inking, i was looking for an indian ink that was better then the scholar ones, and this one here on my country had a price quite high, i imagined that, this ink would be better than the scholar'ones but with less quality than a professional ink, in the end i end up with a gray water far worse from even the scholar'ones that was desapointing, wish i had watch this video before. Now days i work with a national indian ink with a intermediarie quality. Hope i writened a little well at least i am from brazil
