Regarding window switches: Long press the "rear" button and you can open/close all windows at once. Faster than with 4 switches and very nice on a hot summer day. And the passengers have their own button to control the window during the ride, so no big deal in my opinion.

I prefer the VW window switches. I’m always looking looking down on my car window switch area as I usually open the back seat windows instead of the front in error. I rarely find the need to open the back windows. If I have passengers, they can open their own windows if they like.

7:56 No, frunk means no nose-heavy weight ahead of the front axle that gives FWD handling characteristics. Without it gives the RWD-like neutral handling vehicle. And that is a bonus.
5:37 Justin, that is the most brilliant idea of reducing two fewer buttons. The rear window switch has the same concept as the switch for the outside rearview mirrors. There's only a toggle switch to control L, R, Fold, & Heated outside rearview mirrors. So, in the same concept, there's one switch to control F & R windows. It's KISS theory - Simplicity not, complexity applied to the full extend!

I have a 2023 ID4 Pro S Plus AWD on order, and one thing about the interior that I really like is that it is really similar to my BMW i3. That shifter position you mention was clearly taken from the i3 design, as it has that exact same shifter near it's center digital floating screen, as well as the center floating screen. Taht rear window control is not "fiddly", it's designed so that you have to hold your finger on it to change so you don't accidentally bump it. Also, there is another feature you did not show where you hold it until it flashes, and then you can control ALL of the windows with the driver window switch. This car is like a grown up BMW i3, except it has 4 full doors, were the i3 has rear doors that are a half door that open backwards. I love my i3, and can't wait to add the ID4 to my garage. I am selling my Audi Q7, as I sold my boat, and no longer need to do "big towing". The AWD ID4 has more than enough towing power for my aluminum 5x8 trailer for local hauling.

First time at this channel, really like this format. Those window switches absolutely need to go! Would love to see more of that nice doggie as well

With that long cycle pano roof shade - can you stop it in the middle? The little thumps we hear as you press on the switches imply haptic feedback, but, is the sound coming from the speakers?

I agree with Mr. NilsenI don’t know why some people want to whine about having to push one button to use the rear windows, how often doe’s anyone
actually have to open the rear windows when your in the car alone, you have the ability to raise and lower all four windows at the same time how many other vehicles offer that ability, I actually like some changes instead of the same old repetition of every other vehicle being built.

Hos annoying is the window switches in real life? Hos often do you really use it? I know for me it will not be a problem. I rarely use the windows in the back.

Now I know why this car catches my attention. It’s general shape reminds me of the BMW X2.

Of course you have to hold the Rear switch down. Otherwise you would accidentally swipe the switch and inadvertently change control back and forth from front to rear.

I don't like child safety locks being a easily accessible button that could easily be turned on/off unknowingly.

I will give 2 years for VW to bring back physical buttons for Audio for on/off and volume control! Honda fought it for a few years, but they finally surrendered to customer complaints.

The missing 2 button windows were so annoyingly idiotic that I cancelled our reservation !! It's not as if they were short on space ! The designer who came up w that idea should be fired!
