"We'll see you in 4 years when you can't decide between voting for AOC or Kyle Rittenhouse."
To whoever wrote that line, Well Done!

As an Australian, where *voting is compulsory* and we have a preferential ranked choice system, it's scary to see the American system and wonder _how bad Australia would be_ if we had the same electoral process?

Remember, we're the origin of Murdoch and he has much more media dominace here. Although an argument could be made that we've adapted to him and it's because he's an introduced pest in America that's allowed him to have such a devastating effect on the American political ecosystem.

Even our media magnates are toxic and venomous.

I love that Triumph is basically a correspondent for every late night show now.

I'm not sure how anyone with any information or memory of the past 8 years can be "undecided". Neither of the 2 major candidates is an unknown quantity.

Also why is it so important to so many voters that they be able to have a beer with the candidate? Sure it'd be nice to have a beer with my cardiologist but I care *way more* about him knowing what he's doing!

These are the same people who slow down the drive thru.
Even though they have looked at the menu for 5 minutes.

If you had to pick one, which candidate would you allow to babysit your children or grandchildren?
If you don't trust the guy to keep your baby safe, why the F*** would you trust him with our country?!

Robert Smigel is the best. The spirit of Don Rickles mixed with a muppet that looks like it was left in a hot car.

Sometimes I feel like undecided voters on any program are just saying whatever is needed to get on TV. "You want me to say what? Yes, I can pretend to be that ignorant. Now point me to the craft services table."
