I’ve decided my “dirty” Altima with a little dirt in the floor mats and some brake dust on the rims is now perfectly spotless.

This man has every mold growing in there, even the ones never discovered.

3:33 not that lone penny getting sucked up by the vacuum because it never got discovered during the bigger item clean out 😭😂😭

You did a great job with the superficial mold and mess. I am concerned this car will eventually be resold to an unsuspecting buyer and the previous mold will not be disclosed. As a person who buys used cars this makes me cringe...

Doing carpet for four years prior, trained in mold and mildew removal I can 100% guarantee that steam does NOT kill mold or mildew. To properly remove mold and mildew you need to use vital oxide spray or a mold killer, then follow with an ozone treatment for about an hour especially with something that intense. I detail cars now and I do that exact process

My experience with a moldy car:: I live in Portland Oregon. When I was young and stupid and broke, my car had a leaky window and I just could never afford to get it fixed. The rain poured in slowly over the winter, and molded the carpet. Then the car broke down and I couldn't afford the mechanic. It sat on the street for at least 4-5 more months. When I finally went down to the car to check to see if it was still running - the WHOLE INSIDE LOOKED LIKE THIS CAR!! I freaked out. So I did basically what this guy is doing...and borrowed a steam cleaner and spent around 8-9 hours cleaning every single thing in that car. It looked great and even smelled okay...although I do feel like there was a "hint" of moldy smell in there still. I got the car fixed finally and drove it through the summer. There was no more mold during the hot weather - but as SOON as the rains came in the fall, the mold was rampant. It was "waiting" for the right conditions to re-appear. And I can tell you - even if you get rid of the mold on the seats, the fabric and cushions inside the seats contain spores.

You remove the mold you see on the surface, but the mold is already in the fabric. You clean it all up, it looks great, and you sell the car or parts again, the new owner doesn't know about the mold and gets sick of it. Great job.

The car still seems unhealthy to drive or be in. Like.. you cleaned the surface and made it "look" ok but i'm sure there's mold in every nook and cranny still lol. The vents, inner seats, etc. All I can imagine is some poor sap buying this and NOT knowing what happened.

I think this is the first of your videos where I legitimately thought a flamethrower would have been an appropriate detailing tool under the circumstances.

I’d have torched that car. You did a fantastic job of getting it looking nice again, but I do wonder if that mold will come back again. There can be spores you just can’t see.

amazing transformation! surprised that you didn't wear a respirator, considering all the mold ..

I’m calling cap 🧢. This car was already very dirty and moldy, you did an excellent job. But you didn’t have to break out the paprika and food coloring and add new exotic mold colonies.

Hey man, I highly advise you wear a mask in these dirty situations. This is my first video I've seen from you and its impressive. Although, it's not worth risking your health for. Keep up the good work though

Bless you! I thought this was going to be declared a disaster and nothing could be done. Apart from the centre console, everything was able to turn out near perfect. I hope the new owners can get many more years out of the Lexus. That mould was right thick! I’m surprised no frogs came out to wave hello 😵‍💫

You’ll have to throw that out. Mold in porous structures will never go away, they’re attached to the fibers; you’ll have to strip it down and replace the interior of the car with new upholstery.

I would be scared to turn on the AC or heat of this car. Even with having the filter changed, the ducts and inside vents will be infested with mold spores.

My thoughts during this whole video:

1. Wow and I thought my car was dirty
2. I would have just scraped the whole thing.
3. I could not be this man I can hardly clean my room.
4. This man says his dream is... to clean.
5. This person needs help (the person who owns car.)

All I have to say is even though he cleaned all of that mold off, no matter what there’s still a lot more mold underneath all the panels, carpet, etc. Unless he plans to fully take apart the whole car, mold will still be living in there
