VALORANT are releasing the new Champions 2024 Phantom, and in this video I'm comparing it to the Champions 2022 Phantom, to see which is better. These two skins have a lot of similarities obviously since they're both apart of Champions Bundles, but they definitely have their differences too.

There's one thing I love about this skin and hate about the other champions skins and it's that you don't have to do anything to make it look good... If you want the other champions skins to look fine you have to drop like 25 kills, otherwise it just looks bad. I don't have that much time in my hands so I can just play a couple of swiftplay matches a day, so the fact that it will look this good on low kills is a huge plus to me

- 2022 Looks (I just like how clean it looks, 2024 is a bit of a mess)
- 2024 Shooting sfx (2022 is too plain for me)
- 2024 Kill sfx is better
- 2022 Ace sfx is better
- 2024 Finisher looks better
- 2022 Finisher sfx is better
- 2024 Finisher player interaction is better
- 2022 Inspect/Song sounds better
- 2024 Champions Aura and Kill count is better

To tally up;
2022: 4 VS 2024: 5

2024 wins.

I still won't buy it though just cause I don't use Phantoms at all and the fact that the colors is not to my specific taste even if I acknowledge that it's good.

The handheld inspect is not synced with the music on the new one. It flops and bounces off-beat.

There's a skull showing up on different agents in VCT, think it's an easter egg? (its usually just on one of the 10 players) but ive seen it every vct lateley

The lack of a two stage finisher is what kills it for me on the 2024.

It definitely is not the better finisher, but that’s just my Opinion.
