Rob James-Collier & Michael Fox Exclusive Interview - Downton Abbey

Sophie Rae Coop interviews Downton Abbey actors Rob James-Collier and Michael Fox, otherwise known as Thomas Barrow and Andrew Parker, for the sixth and final season of the celebrated ITV show.

Since 2010 ITV's Downton Abbey has delighted the nation with its upstairs, downstairs stories of love, loss and family. As masters and servants carry on while the country prepares for the First World War the grand country house sees its fair share of family conflagrations while below stairs the staff have their own troubles.

Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern lead the cast which includes Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Phyllis Logan, Sophie McShera, Maggie Smith, Penelope Wilton and Rob James-Collier.

From THOMAS's side, he was rather invited back to a house in a higher position where he was seen as a candidate fit for downsizing. The epic justice was that how earlier Mr.Carson told him on one occasion that he was a creature of past, today Mr.Carson actually became the creature of PAST, obviously he was aged and had to retire due to his health issue.
Also for Thomas, the house where he took over was rather a sinking ship than Downton under the new Mary's regime.

Sorry the series ended, I enjoyed it immensely (as millions around the world did as well) Maybe another Downton type series, spin off??? Well who knows, would be nice. By the way, Rob so very handsome!!! Well done to all associated with this marvelous show.

Love Downton Abbey. Love these 2 guys. However as an American I have a hard time following what's being said here or what it means. Got bits and pieces is all.
One time I went back into all 6 seasons and both movies and watched all the Thomas Barrow scenes only. Lol. Got a bit obsessed I guess. 😂

1:00 HA! Not in America... In America we bleed a program dry! We squeeze every last drop out of it until it’s so terrible and boring that the network cancels in for poor ratings. That could take 10 seasons or 20! There’s no such thing as “going out on a high” over here. 😂
(Except Game of Thrones. They knew when to stop. 👏🏼👍🏼🙌🏼. But “The Walking Dead” for example, is letting itself become an absolute dumpster fire.)
