Predator 212cc GHOST Install! Defective?

I'm so glad you pointed out the pulse fitting. I just got my predator ghost in, and the non predator pulse pump I ordered is definitely missing that piece. Ordering today.

The one thing I needed to see, how you set the throttle cable up, was completely cut out. Awesome. Lol.

My ghost motors make the same exact sound. I did a 3ish hour break in and then a 100 mile mini bike trail enduro event. I was running max throttle for like 4 hours with no breaks other than to refill. Still runs great 🤷‍♂️

what i love is you talk bad about that it "shouldnt" sound like that but put no effort into explaining or showing why.... if it doesnt sound right then crack it open and figure out why. this will be a big help to the rest of the community. just shaking your head and saying it shouldnt sound like that isnt a definite answer to anything.

Try VP 4 cycle fuel. Its ethanol free, 94 octane. I run it in my 212 and its a huge difference. It starts first pull most of the time and I dont even choke it anymore, it runs amazingly especially paired with the Autolite predator racing spark plug. I was blown away by the results

Considering the dent on the top it looks like it was dropped and possibly bent ot damaged the crank

My ghost quit starting. Did everything g I could, changed coil, then started smoking out of carb, I just took it out and put a tillotson back in it, much happier

Put a billet flywheel in it before you even start it !!.. they put a crappy DANGEROUS cast flywheel in those. don't take any chances, change it out. Those cast flywheel are a bomb waiting to go off.

Welcome to the Predator Ghost Engines, I've only seen videos on them where they shake so bad after a couple minutes of running. For the price of a Ghost Racing Engine and the Accessory kit, I can buy a 10hp Tillitson 212 and save a bunch of money and have better performance.
