The most important thing when exping vehicles in War Thunder is to stay alive. The time alive on the vehicle is counted towards the RP reward. The longer you stay alive, the more RP you get.
You still have to get the score meantime (you can't just do nothing in the battle), but playing safe and staying alive is the key for good RP gains in this game.
