She can tell, by how strong his scent is, that it's getting close to time for him to come home. Dogs without disabilities are amazing animals but a blind/deaf dog still being able to do that is so awesome.

I love the fact that she's raising her head more to sniff around better, and then when the smell of her owner finally register, she immediately wags her tail and she look so excited and happy.
