Easy solution...have Peter Parker stay solely in the MCU. And have Miles Morales be the Spider-Man in the Sony Universe.

So Tom Holland is basically like the child of divorced parents; gets two of everything - 2 aunt mays, 2 love interests, 2 fandoms, 2 universes, 2 trilogies, 2 paychecks, etc.

This whole debacle shows the Marvel & Sony relationship is still tenuous. I believe Spidey will not be prominently featured in future Marvel movies.

You're making a lot of assumptions, but to answer the question: I don't see how they could conclude Peter's arc in just two more movies. Compared to other characters in the MCU, it just doesn't feel like enough time, not to mention the rest of the cast. What's gonna happen with them? Are they gonna leave their homes and families behind too? Really? Constantly juggling the character back and forth, while definitely possible, doesn't seem like a very good storytelling decision and would probably result in his characterization being inconsistent (which would detract from a lot of the enjoyment of his story).

Ultimately I think we oughta wait and see how things play out before jumping to conclusions.

The key is of course Deadpool showing up in both universes to explain all this mess and then accuse Spider-Man of stealing the color scheme for his suit before doing an awesome team up adventure.

I disagree with this. I don’t think they’re going to completely close the door. I think when Kevin Feige says “surprises, ” he means that Spider-Man might return to the MCU, but more sporadically. Like, “Hey, it’s been a few years. Let’s bring Spidey back for a bit.”

Actually I was cheering that Spider-man left the MCU because of the direction of the MCU, because no one wants or needs a film rendition of the failed comic book line "All New All Different Marvel", that was the only comic book line to be rebooted three times with in two years.
Now I know it will take allot longer for it to effect the MCU because each phase is five years and comic books are a monthly released so it was effected with in months and Marvel went from being number one in Comic book sales to last.
