Why did 1.21.1 Minecraft come out?

One thing I hate about update sub versions like 1.21.x because I have to update all my client side mods

For the record, it is not a holiday per say, it is just vacation times. In Sweden we have the legal right of taking 4 weeks of vacation in the summer. We have a total of minimum 5 weeks paid vacation in Sweden. June - August is the time when most people take that time off.

Technically we already have the bundle in shulker boxes, why couldn’t we be able to interact with shulkers in the same way as bundles? So we could move stuff from a shulker to inventory and back without needing to place the shulkers. Also, could use the different pants armour to increase inventory slots depending on which your wearing or have multiple hot bars, say 3 hot bars which you could cycle through, would give an extra 18 slots in inventory. But if shulkers could have similar features to bundles that would be game changing, especially when building complicated contraptions or big builds!!!

Have to wonder with the bundle having a vanilla preview if that vanilla preview will be added to shulkers.. Would be the coolest 2 for 1 update ever and rabbit farms would become very popular

I would love to see someone make an "auto-bundler" client-side mod. One that automatically finds the optimal items from your inventory to put in the bundle for maximum space saving.

Pretty sure that one of the "critical exploits" that was fixed was a recently found way to create update suppressors using the calibrated sculk sensor. It was usable in multiplayer servers so it had to be quickly fixed.

Bundles like that will be pretty decent for redstone where you need a handful of each component, I kinda dig it

I cant say for sure but the critical bug could be the raid auto deleting the pillagers if the player is 112 blocks away. It can finish the raid immediately

I'm glad for this update to the bundles. I will now carry tons of them. I wonder if we'll be able to put full bundles into a shulker? For a nomadic style of play it would be really cool.

Cape is okay (not great), but the process to get it was way too time consuming. I should get the cape just for playing this game for so many year.

You can upgrade your CPU to i7 7700k so you get 4.2GHz (instead of 3.6GHz)

I couldn't get the cape, because the main screen didn't offer me the event on my pc. My phone did, but I have never played with touch controls before so I was completely unable to get it. spent hours on my phone.... 😡

There was a exploit where a modified client that can crash a server by “requesting command completion for a malicious target selector input”

In 1.21 i figured out that if trial spawner in cooldown, and replaced by deepslate(because chunk error game crash), when the cooldown is over, and the game trying to reactivate spawner, it causing game crash every time you enter the game, even if i was in coord 1k ~ 1k, and the spawner that replaced by deepslate was in around 80 ~ 80 (maybe its always loaded because near from spawn chunk ).The error says 'ticking block entity'. it needs chunk reset to fix this bug.

Honestly, my biggest problem with bundles is that they only carry a single stack's worth of items. If they carried 2-5 stacks, it might be something, but it has almost no use-case worth slaughtering rabbits.
