As a black gay man, I didn't care because there are friend groups like that.

Met her in person. She is a very sweet and nice person. Hate her character in this new series. Loved her in SATC

The new show is way more light. Is literally four people inventing problems and complaining about it

So Sex and the City being so white “didn’t sit well with any of them”. Absolute rubbish. Sarah Jessica Parker was an executive producer on that show and could easily have done something about it

This is stupid. I'm Arab and couldn't even see this. Cause it was about a story. Just as in life I don't choose my friends for their color, it just feels forced now to seem modern, woke and likeable. Every show should be full of diversity. But because it's normal. Not to force it in order to appear good.

She looks so beautiful any hair color, but as a Blonde fits amazing on her.👌🏻🤍

That’s not true! They had a diverse cast, not main cast but for sure everyone else was, Miranda dated a black guy in one of the seasons. Samantha f*cked a lot of dark skin men. The show had diversity bro it was not like FRIENDS but tbh I didn’t care about any of that The show was good and that’s all that mattered

You destroyed the series, Honey, for your own self serving ideology.

That never sat well with any of you, it wasn't reflective of NYC, but no effort was made to change it across multiple seasons. The four core cast members had a ton of collective power once the show was a massive hit.

What's wrong with the show being white ??? You don't see shows with mainly black cast trying to include white people...or Latino shows !

OMG… WHY do you insist on fixing something that ain’t broke!!!! It makes the film FAKE. … if you look at it realistically! All of a sudden a black friend pops into the mix?? WOKE ENEMA at its best.

No, the show was realistic. Can't say I know any black people at all, all my friends are white, not by choice just from thats all who I've met. Im sure its different in America but thats just how life is.

diversity is amazing and needed everywhere but it’s forced and made the poc characters feel like elves in santa’s workshop

Bullshit…if it really was an issue they could have done something about it at the time. They didn’t because nit never even occurred to them. I hate this PC BULLSHIT

heres the issue, when diversity is organic, its wonderful- but when its forced, when its contrived, its called *pandering* its inauthentic, and people can feel that. I dont think black people appreciate the 'token black character' either (or trans or whatever it may be)

Just watched the episode is like a awkward horror show.
Much of the diversity is forced and comes with no natural flow, Miranda's character is *beyond* insufferable.
The writing is poor and even cringey at times, Miranda's scenes specifically hit the cringey level the most.
This show had a lot of potential, it should be as successful as the original and it's movies. But it has not just fallen short, it's fallen flat and it's fallen hard.
As a fan of the original, this was without any doubt the most disappointing reboot in Hollywoods history.
