Angmar Awakened Suggested Dúnedain | Lord of the Rings LCG

The repackaging of the Angmar Awakened cycle has provided the community with 2 suggested decks. The article states that these can be played solo or as a fellowship. On paper, these look much stronger when paired together than apart. I will take each deck up against an 'easy' quest so I can discuss how the deck works. Then, I will play the Fellowship.

As a content idea, I would love to see card analysis based on packs. There are some cards covered on Youtube by older channels like "The Tenth Nazgul" or "Mr Underhill", but they never finished all the cards. Please consider doing card analysis!

Thanks for publishing it! I do not have the access to the suggestion, never played Dunedain deck. But maybe I should give it a try and see what happens. And yes, hate topdecking. Happened to me before and there was a card draw involved. Curious about the Elves deck 🙂

I do not understand this deck when compared to the available pool of Revised Core+ Angmar awakened. Maybe there was some concern with cost curve, but Heir of Valandil mitigates. Where is Valiant Sacrifice? Son of Arnor is a little devalued in solo, but you always have a back up trick in the combat phase with the Sneak Attack if Gandalf is nowhere to be seen. Fornost Bowman and Guardian of Arnor work fine.

Thanks for the great videos @cotrpodcast. As a new player with revised core, starter decks, and now the Angmar expansion it’s been very informative and enjoyable watching all of your recent videos.
You mentioned running both decks through an Angmar scenario. Would it be possible to choose a non-Angmar scenario for those of us who have never played the campaign but will do so as blind play throughs when the campaign box comes out next month? No worries if the video is already shot or you prefer not to. I can always come back to the video later.

Tried this out twice and got absolutely wrecked in Chetwood. Switched to the Silvan Starter Pack deck and sailed through it. Sorry rangers - you're out.
