In Malcolm Gladwell's book "Outliers", "10, 000" Hrs was require on a specific task in-order to be "successful" in any field.

It's interesting where he talks about producing small cars because I love cars. I've read Porsche started making the Boxster they made a loss on every unit but managed/engineered it to a profit within a year. However I can think of companies that take a very different approach like BMWs rebooted Mini which they engineered to be so desirable that people where flipping their spot in the order queue for more than they paid.

It's not clear to me if either is the clear and singular path to success. Do you have any thoughts? 😀
