As someone who at parts of their life would forget to eat because they weren't hungry/starving.
You can genuinely forget your body needs food. Your body stops physically feeling hunger, and you need to force yourself back into eating.
And the rare times you do feel hunger, you have too little energy to make anything, so you don't.

A few times my "forgetful eating habits" had gotten so bad that I was fainting or have black spells.
I also crashed my car due to how unfocused my brain was from the lack of nutrition.

Not eating is not a joke. Treat your body correctly.
