All the synth sounds on this demo were created with the Redshift 6.

Welcome to Supercritical's Youtube Thing Episode 7.

In this episode, we'll give you an update on the development of the Redshift 6, and also share some memories from our recent trip to Buchla and Friends in Los Angeles. We have just released the first firmware update for the Redshift 6 and it's available at our website. The Firmware Update 1.1 brings USB MIDI, new modulation destinations such as: Character, Detune, envelope Attack, Decay, Sustain & Release and also new presets from Kebu.

You can check out our public roadmap to see what is coming. We also have a blog on our website, where we will share updates on the development of the Redshift 6 and occasionally dive deeper into various technical subjects. There is also a Discord server, if you want to discuss the roadmap or technical details with us directly, the link is also on our homepage.

We hope you enjoy this one and see you in the next video.

You can find more info about the Redshift 6 synthesizer on our website:

I just bought mine... proudly from Schneiders Laden production number 16. ❤ It's a great multi personality analog synth. I am VERY much looking forward to next FW update. This one seamlessly worked for me. 🎉

Super cool to see the rust code in the background, I'd love to see a dev blog talking about your team's thoughts on the toolchain for this kind of embedded systems work.

There's no way I can afford one of these guys (or like - any [more] synths) right now, but I just wanted to say - what a cool synth! Kind of a genius premise, and the UI seems like it's pretty well thought out/designed. I look forward to seeing what you turn it into as you update it with more and more features!

It seems a little barebones on the oscillator side (in terms of engines or whatever), but what is there is nice, and the selection of filter models you've already implemented seem very good (as well as the other things already present). I think I especially like "liquid" from what I've heard (more Roland-y, right?) but they could all be useful. I'm sure it will become a wonderful beast with time as you keep working on it. Good luck!

Hi guys..Ever since ive heard this module I've been following with interest. Im in Australia and use a Fantom ES and Hydrasynth Explorer 888 (just arrived). I was going to buy a Trigon 6 desktop but I've held off. Is there 5 reasons why the Redshift 6 should be bought over the Trigon 6 ?. Yes, they are different beasts. I have the money waiting.
