How has this video not come into my feed before now..
Sardine can and orange trick are epic!
Before you roll up a paper towel for a wick look in the back of your kitchen utiliy draw for those bithday candles that are always rolling around back there. Of course there is always that ubiquitous can of crisco and your bacon grease can that will make a good candle in the same way. Also that paper towel that you used to blot up the grease from your bacon this morning is fantastic tinder! The paper the butter was wrapped in works pretty good too... thanks

Working in restaurants, I keep a wine key and a peeler in my bag too. Had a little laugh at the bit with the orange!

Best use I've ever seen for Nacho Cheese Doritos.

Deletoes. Love it!

When I was a Boy Scout we discovered that if you threw a couple Pringles potato chips on the coals of your campfire in the middle of the night they'd burn with a bright white light. It was a handy way to light up the campsite for a minute until you could get a lantern going.

What I took away from this video is an immediate craving for some _juicy_ oranges. Coincidentally I was already snacking on some watermelon. Thankfully it's fruit season again.

Excellent work combining healthy eating (minus the Doritos) with survival hacks. Makes me wonder what other fruits are useful for survival. Bananas, apples, peaches, pineapple, dragon fruit, etc? These all leave some form of leftover organic material that maybe one could adapt for survival use. Food for thought (pun intended).

Keep up the great work my friend.

To take the peel off an orange. Roll it on a table with your hand for a few minutes. It loosens all the fibers makes it easier to peel off the 🍊.

I would suggest that with the anchovies, you should crack open the end ever so slightly, as the wicking action could act as a vacuum, and possible heat the oil inside, causing it to pop, not only creating a rather odiferous mess, but also giving away your position. Hah hah!

Wow, thank you very much. Never thought about using an orange as a tea light and butter as a candal. Awesome 🍊👍😃

When use use the butter candle, place it in a Butter dish. Then maybe you can have your candle and eat it too. LOL Great video. Florida, USA.

Corn nuts is my go-to survival food. 600 calories in a single bag, dont smash up like Doritos, last for years, and burns. I never go without a bag or 2 in each of my packs. BBQ flavor, of course :)

i wonder if it's because of the starch in doritos that makes it flammable, very interesting, great video btw

I'd recommend a second hole in the anchovie can to relieve any potential vacuum pressure. Great vid!

Frito's are mega flammable as well. Lots of oil and the Mylar bag will burn too. The orange trick was cool...

I liked the sardine can trick. I'll be trying that next time. I store lots of sardines for preps. Great video, keep up the good work!
