for a cheap particle board desk like the linnamon, make sure to reinforce the clamp with additional boards or such, or the mount will just go straight through the desk .

Do you find that the monitor arms dent the surface of the Linmon desk surface? I had a similar setup with monitor arms and they dented the desk surface causing the monitor stand to lean.
