Red eyes doesn't mean evil. If that was the case then Toriel and Asgore are evil.

out of curiosity, I wonder how many people don't see it? Monitor type and mode can greatly affect blending(I can only see it with Overdrive set to extreme), not to mention each person having a different number and dispersal of rods and cones in their eyes.

edit: optical color mixing - if you google this and check out the pics, that might give you a slightly better idea of why you can/can't see the red and why slowing it down doesn't make it any easier to see, but short version, it depends a lot on the monitor you view it on, as well as the monitor's settings(or phone, et al)

I think they just naturally have red eyes. No biggie, we see them a few times throughout the game.

i saw that eye a lot of times and i thought i was crazy (i mean i saw it 2 years ago the first time) and i like to think kris's canon eye color is red

if anyone wants to get excited about Kris's red eyes outside of end chapter cutscenes, look at when they jump into the closet dark world the first time. there is a frame or two that you can see their red eye

There aren't a whole lot of opportunities to notice this illusion in-game seeing as Kris' sprite is centered on the screen more often than not.
