Alistair Begg has given Rev. Graham a wonderful tribute. God's faithful people are thankful for the life and legacy of Dr. Graham as well as for the faithful preaching of Alistair Begg. There are a few people who need to repent for their hateful attitudes and slander. As a Christian and Reformed Baptist, I'm thankful to be able to call Billy Graham my dear brother in Christ. It's my honor and I give honor to whom honor is due. "He being dead, yet speaks." (Hebrews 11:4)

Agreed from the perspective you described in your last comment.However, it takes a long time to see fruit and I was talking about the people that made an initial”decision” at his crusades.I myself am one of those who has had to go thru a very intense “spiritual depression” as a result of superficiality in church teaching however I do believe God intervened with me. Perhaps that is what you are “hearing” in my comments. Billy Graham was the man who God used to give me a taste and I did not forget the taste until God providentially gave me repentance, faith and salvation. Patience!!! Forebearence!!!

I was saddened to see a video from Alistair Begg where he praised the life of Billy Graham, Graham had said on multiple occasions that Christ was not the only way of Salvation…very disturbing to say the least!

At least Mr. Graham did not kill people who he deemed were not “elect “. He preached the gospel clean and clear which is more than a lot of you who make comments like this at the passing of a man who acknowledged his sin publicly. Pastor Begg is a kind was man.

this is not in the Lord, for Graham was just another altar-calling pagan whose appeal was timely for the 220 million to flocked to him as if he was more than just a decisionistic evangelist. I am shocked that in his latter preaching days, Alistair is actually lauding such men. Is he therefore just as much a letdown as is John Piper's enamourment of Rick Warren and Graham? Same. The enemy will conquer those who are not in the Lord, and so it is in the latter days, as prophesied by Jesus Himself and Paul later on that there will rise up false prophets in sheep's clothing who will deceive, if it were possible, even the elect. All I mention here are easily sourced here online, and so I won't add them, but what went on in Sproul's last days, and now Piper's and The Gospel Coalition, and now with Alistair. Are we not to walk circumspectly, and be surprised at nothing? Oh my Lord and God, but we to be watchful!
