US troops are arriving in Poland to strengthen NATO's presence in eastern Europe amid the Ukraine crisis. 3,000 additional troops will be stationed in Poland and Romania to provide protection from potential Russian aggression. Russia's military build-up has sent jitters through NATO's eastern European members, who fear Moscow is preparing to attack Ukraine. The Kremlin insists there is no plan to invade. It says the presence of NATO troops will only increase tensions.
As the threat of war looms large over Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is headed to Washington. His mission is to reassure President Joe Biden that Berlin has his back and the rest of the NATO allies in the increasingly tense standoff with Russia. People in Ukraine are preparing for the worst.

I have much respect for Russians and Ukrainians. As a soldier who has seen war up close, I pray that there is no war. The human toll is senseless. But I support any country who only wants its own freedom.

One thing to be clear US sent 3 thousand troops to Poland but US have around 68 thousand troops in EU already mainly Germany Italy Romania Bulgaria and Poland Baltic countries
