Veritaseum on Applied Blockchain Technology in Foreign Countries

Many people query me as to what deals are in the oven or when to expect to expect the next announcement. Nearly all of our discussions and negotiations are private, thus it would be bad business etiquette (if not outright unlawful) to discuss what is going on.
What I did decide to do was to create a small video blog of my time in Jamaica last week to give Veritas holders and followers an idea of the type of business development and marketing research that we do when I go off to places like Jamaica or the other, considerably larger nations that I visit in an attempt to further the Veritaseum P2P capital markets cause.

Hi Reggie I’m excited at the potential of veritasium, but I have to be honest, i feel like I’ve watched the same video over and over again. If you don’t have any updates, I suggest you don’t give an update. If a Q and A has not answered any of the pertinent questions, I suggest you don’t do another Q and A until you have the answers. If you can’t give any details on anything (no doubt with good reason) I suggest you wait until you can. I think the last few videos have only frustrated the people I speak to about the project because there’s no new content. I appreciate you trying to keep the community updated, but from a marketing point of view I’m not sure it’s done you any favours at all. This is just my opinion, however I have heard it echoed by my friends and colleagues. I wanted to let you know not to cast doubt but rather to give you some perspective. All the best!

What I got from the video is that Veritaseum sits between government and industry projects to bring capital from outside the country; like the highway and hotels mentioned. Banks are removed which means they don't politically choose where funding goes in a given country and the recipients of the capital are free of the banks extortionate fees. It also means you or I could buy the veritized or tokenized assets to invest in infrastructure or hotels being built in Jamaica without going via a bank who would restrict our access to those assets unless we had say a minimum of millions to invest. The video explains how the business model will work. Add to that the business process outsourcing that will be brought to Jamaica, it made me think Reggie may use the country as his back office.

This shift in business model by removing banks and governments is huge as it is frictionless access to capital markets for both sides of the deal.

And the Jamaican government clearly gets it and will be facilitating Reggie by introducing him to heads of industry to see how he can boost investment in the country by advising how to veritize assets. The govt are alao possibly going to adapt regulations or taxes to make it more attractive to invest in projects in Jamaica. It's a win win for all involved and the govt sees that and is facilitating.

I'm curious as to where the Chinese community is playing out in this. Front what I've heard they are moving a lot of money around publicly and privately. I love been wondering if that is what drew you to Jamaica instead of 1 of the other islands like Trinidad.
