The mention of Zach as for apps made by third parties is a good one. Also, for phones, we see some very well-thought-out applications that really make a difference. For Altium Designer, this could be a good thing. But usually, car manufacturers like to keep their environment closed and only want to lure people into expensive subscriptions… even though they already bought an expensive car. That, regretfully, is also the case for Altium: their subscriptions have been ridiculously priced in recent years, and they phase out the perpetuals. It’s a '20s thing, apparently.
