Back To Camp: We Messed Up

We make a summer trip upta camp to install Donnies cabinets in the kitchen and find a huge disappointment!

We have the same problem at our camp. Poor air flow because of build design and the camp sits in a pocket that gets little wind. Had to scrub the interior v-match toward the peak and north interior side with hot water and bleach this year. We keep damp-rid bags in it all year. Just swap them out when spent. Glad the camp videos are back.

I had that happen on a church a few years ago. We did not do the install but what we ended up doing was putting collar ties in and then put some vents in the flat spot. That took care of it. You might need to put some gable vents in. Turned out it was just humidity gathering at the top and causing the problem. You do not want to put a vapor barrier on the ceiling. That really seals in the humidity.

Love the camp videos, I’d be happy to have a camp like that looks great Joe, sucks about the roof but have a feeling between you and Donny you will get it figured and fixed no problem, also love the fishing videos,
