Peter one of the leaders of the apostles and Paul, the architect of the church have a head on collision. Truth is more important than outward harmony! Christian fellowship and unity are based on truth and not falsehood! Peace that is preserved by compromising God’s truth is a pseudo-peace and will weaken the church.

The Difference between legalism & freedom in Christ has been conveyed thru this session with absolute clarity & conviction.

The same Holy Spirit works amidst Jews & gentiles & in the various congregations, though ways in which they worship may differ. We can observe that, when we notice the ways in which Peter, Paul, James & John ministered, but the gospel remains the same. Recognizing differences is important for bringing abt unity but without compromising on doctrine. We must never discourage new believers but encourage & recognize youth who are eager to serve. When there’s a difference of opinion or if a clarification is needed we must follow the model of Christian submission. No leader is infallible. Recognize the grace given by God to anointed preachers. We are all equally reconciled to Christ & one in Christ as we partake in the Lord’s table. We should receive the free gift of salvation n enjoy sonship. We have been saved by grace so we should continue in grace. God does not call us into a legal relationship but a loving relationship. In legalism we are forced to obey but in the freedom given to us by our Savior we joyfully obey. Beware of those who try to destroy this freedom which Christ has given us. Fear of people is a snare, do not be concerned abt what others think, fear God not people. The silence of the ones who know the truth weakens the church. Stand firm for the gospel. There’s no concept 50% God & 50% us, instead totally accept what Christ has done for us on the cross. Salvation = Jesus + Nothing.
Christian life is Christ living in us so we live for Christ. May our Lord open our eyes n give us the grace & strength to abide by this teaching, Amen!
