Why I Published a Book as a High School Student (& how you can too)

In this video, I go more in-depth about the process of writing and publishing a book. Really, anybody could do this. It just takes a well-reasoned idea, some commitment, and a growth mindset. I personally wrote my book with Canva and published it through Amazon KDP. Then, I contacted local press (you can almost always find their contact information) and did interviews with them. In the end, I was able to distribute my book to educators. The whole process took about six months.

I’m a recent Senior High School graduate from the STEAM strand here in the Philippines and I’m also currently trying to write an introductory book on physical science for my personal learning and file because we were never made to take the course as it was meant for non-STEAM students as a simplified one-semester science course. Cuz it's a little bit hard for Ss to do so, like creating or making sth. by themselves since they are too busy about the school stuff, like too much homework. hi, iris, I've been watching a few of your videos and thank you for everything you do for others, it certainly is helping me. I'm a sophomore in high school and I want to write a fiction book but I'm still not sure it would make a big impact on what I'm trying to contract as a college application. I had another thought about a book and I would like to get your opinion on it, it would consist of a book on kids/teens with anxiety and depression and other mental silliness but since I come from a Hispanic background I know how hard it is to explain to parents what mental illness, so I would write the book in Spanish for parents to be able to understand the struggles of their kids/teens. please it would mean a lot if you gave your opinion on this. thanks for all your work on the videos btw!
