This song brings up memories of my uncle. He was the lead singer in a band. We were riding in the car with my grandfather who was driving. This song came on the radio and my uncle started singing to the music. He seemed so happy at that moment. He was never at full peace after returning from Vietnam. But music was medicine. That memory has stayed with me since the early '80s.

Songs like this define the sound of NY in the late 70's & 80's. When Frankie Crocker & my uncle (Ken "Spider" Webb) were doing their thing. I was fortunate enough to spend time in the studios back then, both 'BLS & Kiss. That experience took music to the next level for me. I was even able to do a few on air promos for 'BLS. What a time that was! Never to be repeated...
