Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) can fly without the presence of on-board pilots but much training is needed to guide them autonomously or by remote control.

Senior Minister of State for Defence, Mr Heng Chee How, visited the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF’s) UAV Command at Murai Camp yesterday, and met with the team who works with these cool machines.

While there, Mr Heng witnessed first-hand the roles and operational capabilities of the RSAF’s UAVs, as well as how the RSAF leveraged the use of simulators to train its operators realistically and safely.
