Delta Air Lines experienced disruptions with two of its flights on July 13, 2024, due to mechanical issues, causing diversions.

According to the airline, Delta flight 927, coming from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to Atlanta, was diverted to St. Louis (STL) after experiencing a pressurization issue in-flight.

"We are working to get our customers to their final destination as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the delay in their travel. The safety of our customers and people remains Delta’s most important priority," a spokesperson from Delta said in part.

It's reported to be a Boeing 757-200 aircraft carrying 148 passengers and six crew members. The airline said it landed safely and without further incident, adding that first responders met the flight upon arrival.

Airline customer care teams provided on-site support to the passengers. The airline said it had scheduled another aircraft to transport passengers from St. Louis to Atlanta later Saturday.

Delta flight 1950, traveling from Atlanta to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, had to return to Atlanta after the crew received an indication of a potential mechanical issue. Just like the other, it landed with about any other issues. The airline said it has passengers on another flight to St. Thomas that is set to depart later Saturday.

The worse part is having to divert to St. Louis.

Really that's very professional of the Captain...

Most of the time if it's something really serious...

The pilots wont say anything...to the passengers..

Total silence..

Thats why there is a locked door at

the cockpit entrance...

Trust me if you saw what was going on ...and you looked out the cockpit windows...

You would freak out..

Especially on take off and landing..and stormy weather..

And the conversations going on would make you wonder why you decided to fly..

It's better that way...
