LG 65 inch QNED 90 Review - Should You Buy It?

I received the LG 65 inch QNED 90 in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and thoughts expressed in this video are my own. Today, I'll be performing the unboxing, setup, and review of LG's QNED (QNED90), the 65" 4K Mini-LED TV. It has full array local dimming, HDMI 2.1, 120hz, and the new 2021 game optimiser mode. Could this LG QNED Mini LED be the ultimate 4K LCD TV? I'll be discussing the picture quality, how well the speakers sound, different movie modes, and how well it is for gaming on both the Sony PS5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X.

Thanks for that review show people that the TV doesn't really have much blooming even when you've seen it from the side the TV is just excellent but it won't disappointed whether it's gaming or movie I have the 2019 sm9000 and that TV is excellent this TV that you're reviewing is extra excellent see the black bar it's just amazing

Great review. Jonathan how do you think what TV is better - 75QNED90 or Samsung 75QN85A?

Hey, nice video, did you check the settings in the Xbox to see the compatibility of the tv?. I've noticed that apparently it doesn't do 120hz on Dolby vision with the series X. Have you found this to be the case?

Looking at the QNED 91 in the same 65" size. So far it seems to be a bit early for reviews, but as long as it's at least similar or better than this one, it will suit my needs. My present tv is now 9 years old so I do not just buy new all that often. That is why I feel QNED is better future proofing for me, than picking up an OLED option. There are pros and cons for both, and QNED seems like the better choice to me.
I will be connecting a PS5 to it and that will be the only console which is why 1 port is fine, and the other will be used for soundbar.

I just removed this TV from my shortlist based on your video, specifically, at the 8:45 mark. The reflections were pretty bad. So definitely not going in my bright family room.

Thank you for making the video. It was very good.

Hey I just wanted to ask if you will be giving the 2022 lg qned TV’s a shot, as well? I want to see how well the new version handles blooming, and vrr, 4K 120hz, and allm, for an Xbox series x, in its biggest size of 86” as a gaming/movie room tv…

I tried it for a few days but I returned it. I had a problem with very dark games. Where localdimming seemed to mess up in game mode, giving the impression that the black places looked like a live stain, which moved much slower than the game's camera. And I also had a serious problem with yellow blooming, a lot when I watched the TV at an angle... but it also occurred watching it from the front. In the god of war game, when it was in a very dark place, the blooming was very strong in the game's huds. Was my unit defective?

Do you notice dirty screen effect? I've been test this tv about two weeks, but I have to return this because imo there's way too much dirty screen effect. Very noticeable on ice hockey and other winter sports

Is the QNED 85 better than the QNED 90?

Sitting at £2150 right now, closer to the C1 but the NLED suits my lighting better

I own the 75" version. It's a frustrating tv sometimes and perfect other times. Seem like it has inconvenient picture quality accross the booard compared to my Sony. I feel like it has more to do with the upscale ability then anything else. Also from time to time motion handeling can be an issue. One last thing, occasionally the checkerboard pattern will rear its ugly head and its more noticeable on this set. All in all it's a decent tv if your ok with its flaws. Because when everything is working, the picture is truly stunning and rivals oled.
