You cease to amaze me girl...love the custom gift wrapping...tie dye my favorite...our first wall covering was a big tie dye sheet on the wall when we first got married, we put painted moulding around it, it almost covered the whole wall...it looked so groovy....those were the days my friend...oh ya!

It is so much more fun making one's own wrapping paper.  Thanks. Marie

I love the bright, fun wrapping paper! Especially like how it hints to the gift inside. It's cool that the acrylic paint didn't crack. Thanks for the tip about stenciling gesso down first.

The paper turned out so pretty! I would keep the paper and use it for a book cover.

This is so cool!!! I love it! I also love all the layering you did on the tag. It would be great if you would do some mixed media in a journal or on a canvas or something. I would love to see something with all those colors on paper using sculpting paste etc.

This is a really great idea. I love the craft paper.  I  think I'll get out my Christmas  stamps and make  some for Christmas.  I love the way the red and green look on the brown.

Wonderful idea!  So cool how the theme of you project goes with the gift. Wow the paper, tag and ribbon all come together perfectly!  I have always loved to wrap presents :)  My first job  was gift wrapping at a major department store during the Christmas season when I was 16 years old (so long ago).  I will have to do this! TFS

Oh heck Lindsay! You and your Michael's enabling! Just went there today and thought "Oh Lindsay said they had Princeton Neptune brushes in clearance"  12 brushes I bought!!! They were clearanced and then another 50% off. They didn't have a cat tongue but they did have a dagger, and then found a whole huge container of seed beads, and glass beads with some tools for $7 because it had been damaged.  And some cookie cutters for my polymer clay projects!  It's dangerous remembering "oh Lindsay said" I tell you! LOL! :D  And to top that off the Denise crochet hooks I ordered arrived today.  Now to use it all!

Such a cute gift wrapping idea! Sry to bother u again abt the zig clean color brush markers but would they technically fit in pencil case, container etc? Are they comparable in size? Shorter?

Can you show us how you set up your camera for a painting tutorial? That would be very helpful. Thanks for posting!

Love this idea! You've inspired me girlie...I'm ready to wrap! I do have a question about the weight of the Kraft paper. You recommended nothing lower than 60...I honestly have no clue what the 60 feels like. Just for comparison sake, could you maybe just ball park guesstimate what weight an average paper grocery sack might be? Thanks again!!
