My wife's great grandfather had four of those St George medals from WW1. He also served in WW2 as a truck driver and died of a heart attack in 1956 when he was 68 years old.

I have respect for all vets. Even in peacetime, no matter what war or conflict they served in even the cooks and support people have done their part. I appreciate all our service men and women and I realize there is also much to learn from our rivals. Hats off.
