Good advice. It’s better to do presses in the middle of your workout or last after they are warmed up and pre-exhausted. For legs, squat last.

I started weight training in my 40's, after a while both my shoulders felt like somebody heated an ice pick and stuck it dead center in my shoulder all the way to the bone and the pain was unbearable.. it took damn near 6 year's before I stopped hurting...

Almost 1 year removed from a MAJOR shoulder surgery and 3 months of rehab. God that sucked. Feel so much better but I am so paranoid about hurting it but back to pre injury weights in most things. Take your time and warm up properly and use proper technique picking up and putting down weights. Hurt mine missing the rack with barbell shoulder presses and made mistake of holding onto weight rather than letting it go

I do rotator cuff exercises, pull aparts with elastic band, almost everyday. Shoulders are bulletproof now

The problem is.... Not many people want to be a part of that pain.. the pain involved in building... The pain involved in being a part of that elite few that respect the pain and realize that it is the best part of you .. the pain that lets you know you are doing it correctly.. and keep pushing on!!! If you understand this... You are part of that group!! Keep it up guys!!

Couldn’t agree more, I cannot feel my chest or arms properly anymore because of my shoulders, I get a small amount of pump but that’s about it. It can be fixed by seeing a chiropractor and asking for professional help.
