When my dog passed away 2 years ago, it literally crushed me. I still haven’t recovered from it. This song perfectly encapsulates the love I had for her and our bond. A few months ago I was listening to this song, and my grandma ran into my room panicked and packing up to go to my aunt and uncle's house. Apparently, he was at the hospital with a huge tumour in his lungs. Later we found out it was cancer. Stage 4 cancer. Stage. Freaking. 4. I was devastated, and sung this while crying. He's still alive right now. He was treated, and though he will never fully recover, he is safe and happy.
