It blows my mind that Ubisoft didn't release the e3 version or made a next gen version for modern consoles, it'd definitely bring the series back to popularity

I just completed this again, this time with the E3 graphics unlocked. THEY ARE IN THE GAME code, just disabled, and it looks fantastic. GOOGLE The Worse Mod and you'll see that the graphics effects like real wind, bokeh depth of field etc, HDR for shadow and a metric ton of other effects were left in the game, just locked away. These effects were disabled because consoles (even many PCs) in 2014 were crashing when playing the E3 build.😢

I do t care about downgrade. Watchdogs is 1 of my all time fav games. I simply loved it. Especially 1v1 online hacking. I was absolutely gutted that I hated 2 and legion.

Return the game for the graphics hahaha, that's wrong, it's a great game with an excellent story, serious and dark, the Lore it has is quite good and Aiden Pearce is scary

I don't regret anything, and the graphics didn't disappoint me, it's the least important thing to me

It's incredible how different Watch Dogs 1 is from its sequels, very bad and forgettable in my opinion, only the gameplay is decent

I’m a fan of this and 2.
Legions was horrible. Only Aiden and Wrench’s DLC saved that mess.
But ideally, whether we got the E3 version of 1 or not it’s still an amazing storyline and game.
People complaining to this day about it are just bored.

when i see "it not same as the initial trailer", my first thought is console back then cant handle the graphics, so they need to downgrade it. even for PC, if i recall back then 2014 not many people dont have access to powerful rig yet

but yeah, im still enjoy the game during it prime. replay game 3 times with highest difficulty

Fact: game was downgraded because consoles at the time couldn't run the game with graphics shown on e3, they didn't want it to be unfair for PC to get better graphics then console so they choose them to be equal

Man, that's SUCH a PATHETIC excuse for not liking the game.
If you think the game changes anything by Just having some sharper graphcs, YOU are the problem with modern gaming industry!
Game is great even at low settings, and its definetly not the graphcs that brought Watch Dogs down!

This is misinformation. I don't know where you got the " PC Ultra " video but I am going to assume that the player was either playing at a low resolution with AA off because he got a trash rig, or the game isn't actually on max settings. Also, back in the day there wasn't good enough hardware to properly run this on the highest settings possible at even 1080p. I'm saying this because I recently played it on my rtx 4080 at 4k with everything maxed including AA and the game looks as good ( if not better ) as the gameplay trailer. The only difference I noticed is that the smoke is missing in Defalt's club and there are less flying leaves on the streets.

I installed the mod and it was completely broken. I loaded up the game and all i could see is aiden shooting all of the guns and i couldn't stop him he just kept firing and firing, the mod i installed was the E3 Reimagining, it would be nice to know if i put specific mods in the wrong folders or places.
