In this video I look at how Dylusions Spray Inks and Luminiarte Radiant Rain Sprays react with Isopropyl Alcohol. I achieve some very pretty results! I used the reverse side of photo paper for this experiment.

Thank you Nina for steering me to this video from the Facebook page. I love it! I started my art class last night and didn't have a chance to work on the prompt but definitely tonight! You're amazing!

Nina, it is so exciting to learn, alcohol and Dylusions spray work together. I have been told so many times, they don't work together because the spray inks are water based and not alcohol based. so tickled, you tried this, for I wouldn't have bothered. can't wait to give it a go. Thank you for doing this experiment!

On the second one, I see a kitty or raccoon or other critter in the lower to mid right side of the image! These turned out so lovely and fun! TFS!

Thank you for having done this little experiment. All my art supplies are packed away for a move across country.
if our move is delyed a month or more, and I can see all my "toys" again, I may have to go looking for my sprays. I have had them for a few years, and it hadn't occurred to me yet, to drop alcohol on them. I know, I will want to try this, just a soon as I can!

Thanks. I'm so glad you figure out the back of photo paper works for this. I'll let you know if I get different results with different %. Hopefully I can play later today or tomorrow. I'll try and video it if I can figure out how.

Love the effects you got with the sprays! I don't have any alcohol inks so this was quite helpful! Thanks. Hugs

Hi Nina, thank you so much for sharing this with me, it's very beautiful and I love ❤️ to watch you as you I watched one of your tutorial's when you did a leaf 🍃 print. Well I did one on a white canvas, which I need to touch up in places, but I'm quite happy with it.

I just love playing with alcohol inks, and have played with 100% alcohol with watercolors. When I have the time it is on my list to try other very fluid pigmented media with this technique. I absolutely love vibrant colors.
