This is one of the most beautiful tunes I’ve ever heard. I’m glad there are such good songs for old “beginners” like me to learn. I really like the Alfred books. Thanks for the video help. I’m finding I like yours best.

Edelweiss, edelweiss
Every morning you greet me
Small and white, clean and bright
You look happy to meet me
Blossom of snow, may you bloom and grow
Bloom and grow forever
Edelweiss, edelweiss
Bless my homeland forever

So I have been working my way through this book (I'm on Rainbow connection actually, and thank you for all your help). I notice that you place this a good bit faster than I do. They don't really give a tempo in these books. Is the way you play it the generally accepted standard or is it just performer preference?
