Here in Brazil, we have the "SUS" it's a public system of health, and it's free. We also have insurance, but works like a private system and they are like 50 dollars per month

All state hospitals in Turkey carry out free examinations until the age of 18. But if you don't have insurance after the age of 18, hospitals will take some money from you, But if you do not have insurance after the age of 18, the hospitals take some money from you, not a lot of money. If you have insurance, you will not pay any examination fee. In addition, 80% of all pharmacy costs are covered by the state.🇹🇷🇹🇷

Average salary in EEUU is almost 70.000$
Insuring per month: 300$ = per year: 3.600$
Rly ppl thinks that they couldn't live with 66.400$ with low taxes?

In my country, Spain (with "free" health) we have an average salary of 23.000€, our taxes are higher and is hard to find jobs. After a year of taxes, you could have 18.000€ with luck.
And our health is not as good as the ppl says, you have to wait several months for medical tests and operations... then ppl pays for privates.

EEUU is better in my opinion. Good video and thanks for this content! :)

In Italy general doctor is gratis, you just have to register yourself in a body called “ASL”, where they asigne your doctor. If you need a specialist, you can go to the hospital paying a ticket (normally 40/50€) or choise a private one, paying in according to his tariff

Here in Venezuela, the cost depends on the specialist, place of appointment and famous the doctor. The cost can be since 25$ from 100$ according to the variables I told you.
There are health insurances but Most health insurance has short covered.
And of course, We also have a public health system, but in resume, It's a whole disaster.

Great vid, in Iraq we don't have a health insurance...we just go to the doctor
Whenever we feel not that good
But going to the doctors here also not that cheap, if u measurd it on the iraqi currency..the average spent will be like(with all the analysis)100$
And if u have a major health problem then..it will be 250$and above besides the pills or the medicine he will give to you(this is the private clincs)
The public ones is for free, but u will have to wait too long...and the medical treatment is bad there..but you can go if u don't have the money to go to a private one...

I don´t like going to the doctor either. However, I think it´s necessary to avoid some complications. In Mexico the cost per appointment varies, for example at "Farmacias Similares" a consultation is around 45 pesos, but at other places, the cost can be up to 1000 pesos. A huge of difference.

So today I’m going to talk about doctor’s appointments. This is not one of my favorite topic, because honestly I hate going to the doctors. I’m sure some of you can sympathize with me on this one. Every time I have to go to the doctor, I get nervous, anxious and I can’t waiting until everything’s over. But that said, let’s talk about the process of going to the doctor in the US. So first of all, it’s important to talk about health insurance. In the US, most people have the insurance because without it the cost of getting medical treatments can be astronomical. But there’s still a problem here because the insurance itself also cost a lot of money. If you are single and you’re just insuring yourself, the average cost per month is well over 300 dollars. However if you are insuring your whole family, the average cost is over 800 dollars per month. And even though you pay this huge amount of money for your monthly premium, you still have to pay more money when you actually go to the doctor office. It’s crazy I know. You might be thinking why would people pay this much money, why don’t they just not get health insurance. Well, if you don’t go to the doctor much and you don’t need any major operations, that would be fine. But if something major happens to you or you get an accident, you are going to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to get treatment if you don’t have insurance. So really, in my opinion, the main point of having insurance in the US is to make sure you are covered any major, unexpected events.
So now let’s talk about the doctor office. When you go to the new doctor for the first time, the receptionist usually make you fill out a long form with all the past medical history. If you are an returning patient, though you don’t need to do this. Before you see the doctor, you’ve got to go to the nurse to measure your height, weight and blood pressure. Since I get nervous at the doctor office, my blood pressure reading usually high when they take it so it always appears to them that I’m a high blood pressure. After they take your measurement and everything, they leave you in the room alone and you have to wait to the doctor to come. Then you usually get about 15 minute consultation with the doctor and hopefully it’s productive. But of course I’ve had many appointments in my life that I feel unproductive or rushed. It’s really depends on where you go and which doctor you get. And lastly the doctor write you a prescription if you need one and you pick up your medication to the pharmacy. Also if you need to see a specialist, the doctor refers you to one and then you set that appointment when you can. Aside from all this, we also have private practice doctors that have their own offices outside of the general system. They are usually much flexible and can offer better care but the resources are more limited.
