Another GREAT drummer who doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves.

Chris will never cease to be a badass in every sense of the word…as a musician and as a person in general.

Chris Layton . Much respect for you . You honor Mitch Mitchell. I always knew he was a talented jazz drummer.

I agree with his comments about the Vater Sticks.  I was Percy Sledge's drummer on the East Coast until his passing.  I previously used Vic Firth, now I only use Vater.  The Sugar Maple Super Jazz model.

Listen to Voodoo Child live at El Mochambo. Stevie is jawdroppin. But if you can take your attention off Stevie listen to how unbelievable this Guy is master class in timing and groove

Chris, I'm BEGGING you, PLEASE DO THE RIGHT way to play "Tightrope." There's are 900 versions here, and all of them feel like holding a bag of dog poopies, lol. If I can see your hands, I can do it myself, albeit not as good as you, but I'll be singing too, so cut me a break, maybe? :)
