CGRundertow NICKTOONS MLB for Xbox 360 Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Nicktoons MLB from High Voltage Software and 2K Play for the Xbox 360. Nicktoons MLB is also available for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Nicktoons MLB is the same game on both Wii and Xbox 360...not that you could tell by looking at them or anything. The quality gap between the two is just staggering. There's a level of polish in the HD version that makes it look and play exponentially better. So much better, in fact, that you wonder if they even tried with the Wii version. Nicktoons MLB mixes real Major League players, teams and stadiums with a selection of characters from Nickelodeon's long running Nicktoons. The game itself is an arcade style baseball game similar to The Bigs, another series from 2K Sports. Hey Derek. I really enjoy your reviews, but do yourself a favor. Drop your preconceptions that all modern Nicktoons are drawn crappy and have no point, and watch Avatar. That one is VERY well drawn and is VERY well made, so much it isn't even in the same league as the rest.

@jeffskid96 Arnold would be a pretty good character but seeing as they made Spongebob and Stimpy humongous, I couldn't really imagine the Rugrats on this game.

This review was absolutely dreadful. You told us 360 version of game is better, never explained why. All I get from this review is that controls and graphics are better than the Wii version, but you fail to justify that criticism.

There should be a Nicktoons game like this. Minus Fanboy and Chum Chum, TUFF Puppy, and Planet Sheen. Replace them with Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, and Ah! Real Monsters!

Don't try to explain yourself Derek. You made it clear enough that you hate most of today's animation. No further explanation is needed.
As for the game, 2 dozen characters is far too little considering how many Nicktoons there are, both old and new. At least Zim;s in it.

I do feel Little Derek's pain that Log isn't in the game, neither are Norbert and Daggett.
