Multiple times you indicate air moving in a loop.  Air only travels upwards and exits the system and does not move in a loop.

@Shomu's Biology then accordingly they should differ in one more way right? Bubble column bioreactor is unidirectional while airlift bioreactor is bidirectional involving the nutrient mixture! Will it be wrong to say that?
