in the 90s I was a nightclub bouncer. No training of any sort and I was built like a linebacker and looked like a "biker". Always amused me how rarely I got tested compared to how often another crew member was. He was trained in BJJ, had UFC aspirations, and was well under 6' and 200#.

It's kind of funny how this works out. Most guys wouldn't sit in a stadium watching soccer, thinking they could play just as well as professional athletes... but many will assert they could win in a fight against a pro fighter. Odd disconnect.

I know a lot of people don't like Rogan but the guy can fight, he's got one hell of a kick.

It’s always amazed me. Guys that watch UFC, and think
“I can do that”, is just about as realistic as watching MOTO GP and thinking, “yeah, I can do that”.
🤷🏻‍♂️

02:53 In third world countries ring fights whether boxing or martial arts you can't blame the none pro. A lot of times when a scheduled opponent is late or don't show up or suddenly back out a promoter will ask around for any volunteers for a price. I have seen that happened back in May of 1987 in the Philippines. A 30 something yrs. old man with obviously no skills lured by the price of a sack of rice responded to substitute for a fight with a 20s pro kick boxer. He can only get the price if he lasts 3 rounds and if not he only gets a little money. So the man endured merciless beatings as the crowd were cheering and laughing while he got disfigured. After all the fights are done I saw him claim his priced sack of rice with his wife and small kids in tow. A sentimental sight that has never left my head since then.

Remember when 5 american football guys were bothering people outside a bar and two 180 lbs guys made them regret what they had said to them

Imagine that
The video promotes street fights, and only shows you sparring at the gym.

@ 3.00 it looks like the bar I was years ago in Pattaya Thailand where every sucker could take on Thai fighters. That was such fun there. When I was there there were 3 US navy ships anchored of the coast so there was no shortage of challengers.

This is probably the realist video I’ve seen because every average Joe in this country think they can actually fight. Talking about when they see red and end up waking up a few moments later 😂

I have seen many videos on men "owning" women and then I come across this video. Well, gentlemen, the concept of this video is VERY applicable with male vs female altercations.

I am a former professional fighter with a 29-0 record. During my years in the IMAF (precursor to MMA and the UFC) I managed to win 4 national, 2 International and the world title. I have been training since I was 3 and spent 16 years in the military as a special tactics officer for one of the most decorated units the military has to offer. And... I am a woman!

I'm 5'9" and even with my training and experience, I could not go toe-to-toe, blow-for-blow with some 6'8"man. HOWEVER... in the past, I have taken down men like this in under a second. I'm not getting in the ring with him, it's a self-defense situation. I know I may not defeat him str8 up. But I do have skills, training and experience most men just do not have.

Imagine Rhonda Roussey against some average Joe, in a self-defense situation. The average Joe isn't coming out of this on his feet. I'm just saying, not all women are helpless against men.

5:05 idk about this one. That guy landed a well placed head kick with appropriate power behind it- cause he kept sticking his face out, he then responded with a full force liver kick…
