Tonight's Sponsor is Sweetwater!

📚Description: Davidson's Wellstrung guitars has incredible inventory. They specialize in not just your typical vintage guitars, but the weird one-off / special orders and that is something I can get excited about because there weren't THAT many back then as opposed to now. I'd love to document them but sadly, I don't have that kind of budget for my channel haha

Trogly, my friend, I've been a guitar player for 33 years. And I've NEVER wanted a Gibson. I love epiphone. But never understood the thing about Gibsons. But I've been watching your show for 2 years now, and NOW I find myself looking for a Gibson. Ya talked me into it. And no one has EVER changed my mind about them, but you have. Thank you good sir. Love the content! I always look forward to watching Trogly when I get home from work. Rock on brother.

My in laws owned a house in Barbados for 30+ years. Absolutely beautiful country, with wonderful people. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend that I’ve played a Gibson, from the golden era, in all the time I spent there, but most guitars I did touch down there, definitely didn’t react well to the weather on the island. Always warped or humidity damaged. The handmade South American guitars were fantastic. Most other imports not so much. In 2024, air conditioning is prevalent. In 1990, it was still a luxury. There’s likely a shortage of qualified techs also. Most of the guitars sold are at their version of Sam’s Club. I’d, personally, have that one checked over before I bought it.

That SG bass six was so cool! I can only imagine the doom metal that could be played on it

Gibson EB 6. Steve Howe used one on The Steve Howe album alongside that The Les Paul you talked with him about recently that you have back in your collection.

That knight headstock inlay is AWESOME. I've never seen that before and now I want that on a Les Paul Custom.

Could not concentrate on that tenor at all, because the guy apparently also owns ALL THE TRIPLE PICKUP CUSTOMS.

Tony Mottola was an easy listening picker, a few notches below Chet Atkins, but still kind of a big deal from the mid 1960s to the late 1970s. That's quite a collection there, ALWAYAS good to see a Tenor, that's not my cheapo Martin copy.

For best Firebird 7, surely its a toss between a Cardinal red or the Black Nickel in this Video.

Have they ever made a Birdland looking guitar with the Florentine cutaway but with a center block like a 335 so it didn’t feed back so much and may be a longer scale of the short scale that I would love to have one of those maybe in white
