ROGERS COWBOY BEANS! An old family recipe. s2e35

We make Rogers Cowboy Beans. It's an old family recipe handed down several generations. I haven't had it for a bit so when I decided to make it, I was so pleased how well they turned out. So so good!
I really enjoy cooking and baking in a dutch oven and look for the opportunity to cook in them when ever possible. Plus its always good to enjoy a family recipe or tradition.
These beans will be some of the best youll ever have. I cant vouch that they were eaten by real live cowboys BUT if they were, no cowboy ever complained about eating these beans.
We found ourselves saying "One day we need to do this", or "I wish we could do that". We finally "woke up" and started doing. We are happy and want you to be part of our adventures. Everything from fixing and improving out property/home to going camping and 4 wheeling in the great out doors.
We are a family of 6 kids, 2 inlaws, and the 2 best puppys in the world, Hank and Beau. They are our world.
When working on our property, we tend to do as much of the work ourselves as possible. We just feel we will appreciate and take care of it better if we are invested in it. Plus our kids get to see us work and we hope that helps them want to work and provide for themselves as well.
We are outdoors kind of people. Love being out in the world. We would love to travel the world but we have so much to see right here in our own world.
We see ourselves more as a vlog channel although we are not daily vloggers. More like 1 to 2 times a week. We are God fearing good Christian people living in Utah and we try to make the world a better place to live.

Kathy and the kids are hooked on Grandmas beans! We’ve made it twice, in the last month. Always double the recipe so you have leftovers!
