Tory MP Alister Jack makes a joke about Scotland's ferry fiasco in Commons debate

Before Prime Minister's questions today, Tory MP Alister Jack enjoyed making fun of the SNP's ferry fiasco.

Mr Jack responded to a question about the Ferguson Marine ferries saying "the ferries float, they just can't seem to finish them or make them work"

Wouldn't give Scotland any type of work from the UK. The FM says she doesn't want navy or anything else in Scotland. So don't give her anything!!!

Fact is that people on the islands are being driven to distraction in wondering if they will get off their island or indeed back on to it due to CalMac not having any spare capacity in their fleet. It is not a laughing matter for those requiring hospital treatment on the mainland or those island businesses relying on tourists for their income. This is a serious issue and is only getting worse week by week.
