That makes perfect sense. I do that. I beat myself up. When I do that I tend to have a negative attitude towards others because I dont feel good about my own life. I need to focus on Jesus.

I feel defeated every day. I can't understand how to know that I am saved. I know I believe and was raised in church. I got saved when I was around 7. I just struggle with doubt to know that I could ever be enough for God. Even though I fully believe its all about what Jesus did on the Cross. I just get so discouraged. I know there are things in my life that are not approved by God, but somehow I just keep trying to fix it all myself. Prayers please.
