I was watching as a neutral viewer so I don't want anyone calling me salty. However, while Parramatta definitely didn't help themselves at the end, they realistically got robbed, now I know you can't say the whole game would've gone the same way but I still think this is valid. Anyway, what I want to point out is the 2 point margin, Penrith got those 2 points off of one of the dodgiest High Tackle calls you'll ever see, yes they could've challenged but it was in the last minute and I'm sure they would not want to risk it 'just in case'. On another note, Parrmatta's disallowed try was just absolutely unbelievable, first off, Kikau runs an escort so that should be a penalty, then he takes out his own players legs and Parramatta get the ball, they then proceed to throw a pass that went very clearly backwards, which ultimately took away their deserved try. Now in saying all this, I did enjoy the game, personally, I really love close low-scoring games so it was very enjoyable but Parramatta really should've been the one on top but in my opinion, the ref took it off of them.

Parramatta were denied a few penalties which could’ve got them 6 more, especially one in the corner in the dying minutes

Manly fan here but I did feel sorry for the Eels after this game. They really turned up and had some dodgy calls against them; their fans can be proud.

Penrith bombed 3 certain tries. the score could have blown out. have to give props to that eels defence though. take that mindset into next year.

This was a game. That Luai try that was disallowed should’ve been given considering they penalised the eels for being offside. Weird refereeing.

Why did the Bunker NOT get involved when Panicini was tackled without the ball when Ferguson kicked inside at the 77 minute mark. If you watch the footage (which is not shown for some reason in this youtube) he is clearly pushed before he has possession of the ball. He was about to gather the ball and possibly score. I am not saying it should be a penalty try BUT it should have at least been a penalty or 10 in the bin for Burton for a professional foul. To deny Parramatta the 2 points to even it up is a shame. It may have been a try to the Eels with 3 minutes to go.

Penrith need some confidence. Players had the shape but weren't hitting the ball at speed and getting back deep enough. Need to run onto the ball.
