for those who are complaining that maia is too violent, well duh, she's a werewolf violence is her nature. and yes luke has more control over his violent behaviour but he had more time and experience to learn control and in the books she has had a hard life with her violent brother, abusive exes and people don't only like because she's violent, they like her cuz she stands up for herself and what she believes in, which clary barely done except in this episode.
