TRANSFORM your guitar playing! Join the Guitar Playback Academy for STRUCTURED LESSONS and REAL TEACHER FEEDBACK!

A lot of players forget to connect their voice and their ears with the instrument.

Your mouth is the most direct vehicle for the ideas that you have inside and in this video we are going to use a singing exercise to bring those ideas out.

Starting with a minor pentatonic scale we are going to play the first note and then imagine the next note and sing it.

To expand on that idea we will start singing different pentatonic patterns and then reproducing them on the guitar.

Ear training is one of the most important skills on any instrument.

Ok, so I need a course based on these ideas! A proper structured course that will really open up my ear training. Do you have a course based on this?

Hi David, greetings from México, as always you give us amazing lessons, I have a question about one of your guitars, can you tell me the exact model for the ibanez with purple color on the edge?, I'm intrigued because the body looks so thin, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
