Jason Blundell has left Deviation Games after a year and a bit after announcing the studio and their new AAA IP with Playstation. This news is quite shocking and puzzling, and gets us wondering why he left and what he could be up to in order to choose to leave the studio. Could he potentially return to Treyarch? Who really knows.

This whole situation, like Jason himself, is just so mysterious. There has to be a SPECIFIC reason he’s leaving. If it was personal I think he’d simply take a leave of absence, not leave the company. Hopefully we learn more information soon.

I think this might be in line with sony buying deviation and blundell did not want to go back under a big publisher or just that he had a different vision that sony did not share. Same happened before sony bough haven studio.

I feel that when their game comes out, you'll probably be able to find his touch on the game, even if he left prerelease and they could easily remove everything he's done, I doubt they will because they know it's probably best
